Pug Bulldog Mini TWO Charms. Marvellous, beautiful matching pair of clear, antique glass bulldogs or pugs. My research tells me this is Czech glass from the 1920s / 1930s. This listing is for TWO matching dogs with one lead, attached to one dog. That dog also has a red glass bead on its collar.

They both have their eyes. These are often missing on many other offerings. Stunning clear glass almost frosted colour.

I believe this is pressed satin glass or pate de verre. Sweet expression on their faces. I tried to capture that in the photos. The face of both these darlings are perfect. The left ear on the one with the collar feels a tiny rough.

I cannot see any chip. Perhaps this was in the moulding but my fingernail feels a tiny rough edge. The base of this one seems to have a chip under his front paws. Again, this is perhaps in the moulding.

I bring this to your attention. The one with the lead has a white mark behind his front left paw. The top of his right paw - his shin, if you will - seems to be chipped. Have tried to capture this in the photos. I had a number of these beautiful Czech charms.

For more than 40 years, they have not been seen nor touched. In 1979, she fled the New York snow and moved to sunny Florida, never to sell again. I know when she packed because the newspaper in the boxes is dated 1979. When Mother died, I transferred her Florida belongings to my storage in California, where I used to live.
